Wilbur 'Howard' Johnston

Wilbur “Howard” Johnston, 74, of Greenville, Kentucky died Friday, August 28, 2015 at 6:35 a.m. at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born on January 27, 1941 in Drakesboro, KY the son of Wilbur Ray Johnston and Eria Engler Johnston. He served in the United States Marines for four years and two months. Following his service he was discharged with the rank of Sergeant E-5. He worked in Chicago, IL for twenty years, and also worked at Ensign Bickford and Dyno Nobel in Graham, KY for twenty years. Claude Winford Lee, 86, of Greenville, Kentucky died Friday, August 28, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the Muhlenberg Community Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born on May 17, 1929 in Muhlenberg County the son of Ransom Lee and Betty Jessup Lee. He was a member of Jernigan’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Greenville, KY. He was a UMWA coalminer for 13 years working for Black Energy Coal Mines. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Mary Todd and Delma Miller, and one brother R.E. Lee.
