Audrey Mae Fleming

Audrey Mae Fleming, 89, of Dunmor, Ky., went to Heaven Easter morning Sunday April 20, 2014. She was born Oct. 29, 1924 to William Roy and Mable Walker Mallory of Penrod. She married Raymond Clarence Fleming in 1945 and served as long time Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher. She was a member of New Hebron Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 49 years, Raymond and her sister, Mildred McPherson. James (Jim) Hunter Smith

Master Sergeant retired James Hunter Smith (Jim) of Eddyville, KY, aged 76, died suddenly on December 11, 2013 in Eddyville from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Jim was born March 4, 1937 in Sanford, ME to the late Edward Smith and Hazel Della Hunter Smith. He graduated from Sanford High School in 1956 and later in life earned a BA from Indiana University. During high school, Jim joined the 103rd Regimental Combat Team of the Maine National Guard and after graduation requested active duty in the US Army.
