Mary Alline Cornette

Mary Alline Cornette, 88 of Greenville, KY died Saturday afternoon December 17, 2011 at 1:10 p.m. at her daughter’s home after a short illness.  Alline was born December 10, 1923 in Muhlenberg County the daughter of Dallas A. Hill and Ida Jamison Hill. She was a homemaker and a member of Leigh’s Chapel General Baptist church in Greenville.  Alline was preceded in death by her parents, husband Rev. Raymond Cornette, infant daughter Mary Ann Cornette,  son Donald Cornette, son-in-law Jimmy Pearson, sisters  Audrey  Melton and twin sister Mazine Settle.

She is survived by 2 daughters Brenda Pearson of Greenville, KY; Rita (Sandy) Walker of Nashville, TN.
9 grandchildren: Gloria (Dennis) Rose, Troy (Rita) Cornette, Michael (Teresa) Cornette, Lisa (Brandon) Cunningham, Stephanie Nelson, Shane (Emily) Cohoon, Yvette (Frank) Bacon, Tina (Mike) Beliles,  and Brian Pearson; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon December 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY by Rev. John Galyen assisted by Rev. Roger Wright with burial to follow in Plesant Hill Cemetery in Greenville, KY.

Friends may call Tuesday morning December 20, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, KY.
