Orvil Grace

Orvil  Grace,  89 of Greenville, Ky. died Sunday night December 18, 2011 at 11:15 p.m. in the Muhlenberg Community Hospital Greenville, Ky. after a lengthy illness.  Orvil  was born December 25, 1921 in Greenville, Ky. the son of William Bill Grace and Minnie Pearl Brasher Grace. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Greenville  and was an Army Veteran having served  with Honors during World War II.  Orvil was a retired UMWA coal miner having worked at   Gibrlatar mine for 32 years retiring in 1983.  He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Scott Grace, son –in-law Robert Ward, step-grandson Billy Herrin, Brothers William “Junior” Grace, Clifton “Tip” Grace  ,L. W. Grace and  sister Marie Uzzle.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon  December 21, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, Ky. by Rev. Danny Mooneyhan
Burial with military honors at Carter Creek Cemetery Greenville, Ky.

Orvil  is survived by his wife  of 32 years

Friends may call Tuesday afternoon December 20, 2011 from 5:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, Ky. and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
