Orvil Grace

graceOrvil  Grace,  89 of Greenville, Ky. died Sunday night December 18, 2011 at 11:15 p.m. in the Muhlenberg Community Hospital Greenville, Ky. after a lengthy illness.  Orvil  was born December 25, 1921 in Greenville, Ky. the son of William Bill Grace and Minnie Pearl Brasher Grace. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Greenville  and was an Army Veteran having served  with Honors during World War II.  Orvil was a retired UMWA coal miner having worked at   Gibrlatar mine for 32 years retiring in 1983.  He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Scott Grace, son –in-law Robert Ward, step-grandson Billy Herrin, Brothers William “Junior” Grace, Clifton “Tip” Grace  ,L. W. Grace and  sister Marie Uzzle.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon  December 21, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, Ky. by Rev. Danny Mooneyhan
Burial with military honors at Carter Creek Cemetery Greenville, Ky.

Friends may call Tuesday afternoon December 20, 2011 from 5:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, Ky. and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
