Dorothy Mae Randolph

Dorothy Mae Randolph, 92 of Greenville, KY passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 4:45 pm at her home following a lengthy illness.  She was born on May 30, 1919 in Muhlenberg County, the daughter of Jesse Richard Lee and Dovie Obrien Crittenden Lee.  She was a member of Roland Memorial Baptist Church Greenville, KY and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Melvin Lawrence Randolph in 1992, her son Ronald “Parkie” Randolph in 1995, two grandsons, David Wayne Randolph in 1995 and Douglas Scott Sumner, and sister Mary Flynn.

She is survived by:  One Daughter, Sue Beasley of Greenville, KY; One Son, Donald (Dian) Randolph of Greenville, KY; One Step Daughter, Barbara (Ed) Hanson of Blue Grass, Iowa; six Grandchildren; twelve  Great Grandchildren; Six Great- Great Grandchildren; One brother, Carl (Barbara) Lee of Lewisport, KY; One sister, Margaret Randolph of Greenville, KY.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 1:00 pm from Roland Memorial Baptist Church in Greenville, KY by Reverend Danny Mooneyhan and Reverend James Doyel.  Burial will be held in the Crittenden Family Cemetery in Greenville, KY.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY and on Friday after 11:00 am at Roland Memorial Baptist Church, Greenville, KY.

Contributions can be made in memory of Mrs. Randolph to the Roland Memorial Youth Group,  144 St. Rt. 189 South Greenville, KY 42345. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
